With a quarterfinal win over Hebron on Tuesday, the South Grand Prairie Warriors boys basketball team has advanced to play El Paso Hanks on Friday night, March 2, at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center in Fort Worth.  Tipoff is at 8:00 pm.

2012 5A Region I Basketball Tournament Information (including ticket prices)

The South Grand Prairie Boys Basketball team (33-2) will take on Hebron (23-10) at 7:30 pm Tuesday, February 28, at Colleyville Heritage in the UIL 5A Region 1 Quarterfinals.

Tickets are not available for advance sale.  Tickets are available at the game.

 

American Airlines Center will host the area round of playoffs for University Interscholastic League (UIL) 4A Region 2 Bi‐District and 5A Region 1 Bi‐District boys basketball on Saturday, February 25. Games will be played at 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm, and SGP plays at 7:00 pm.

Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster for $25 courtside, $15 lower level and $10 upper levels.  Tickets are also on sale through the Athletic Department at the GPISD Education Center (8:30 am - 4:30 pm) and the SGP main campus officeduring school hours, Thursday and Friday, Feb. 23-24.  No credit or debit cards accepted, cash or check only.

The District is contacting parents today through Friday regarding audition schedules for the Fine Arts Academy at Reagan Middle School.  If you placed an application for the Fine Arts Academy at RMS, please be sure to check your voicemail and email messages for your individual appointment time and date.

The District will have an early release day for elementary schools only on Wednesday, February 15, to accommodate staff development.  Elementary children will be released at 12:30 pm.
