The site for tonight's SGP vs. Marcus playoff baseball game has been changed!

The game will be held at South Grand Prairie High School at 7:30 p.m.  Also, tomorrow night's game will be held at Marcus High School beginning at 7:30.

South Grand Prairie High School is located at 301 W. Warrior Trail.  Marcus High School is located at 5707 Morriss Road in Flower Mound.

Game 3 (if needed) is still scheduled for Saturday at Grapevine High School at 1:00 p.m.

MayFest 2010 is slated for Saturday, May 15, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Kirby Creek Park located at 3303 Corn Valley Road (adjacent to the South Grand Prairie High School baseball field).

GPISD school board trustee Chester McCrary was re-elected on Saturday.  Terry Brooks, who ran unopposed was also re-elected.

Saturday, May 8, is Election Day in Grand Prairie.  Two seats on the GPISD Board of Trustees are on this year's ballot.  They are as follows:

Place 1:
Terry Brooks (incumbent)

Place 2:
Chester McCrary (incumbent)
Catherine Dismore

GPISD is now registering Pre-Kindergarten students who will be 4 years of age by September 1, 2010. Parents can register their child on May 6 and 7 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the campus they will attend for the 2010-2011 school year with the following exceptions:

Schools: Bonham, Crockett, Lee, Rayburn, Seguin, and Williams will register at the Administration building
Schools: Moseley, Powell, Florence Hill, and Garner will register at Moseley Elementary
