UPCOMING NEWS & EVENTS

Major Saver Campaign:

The GPISD Education Foundation's Major Saver campaign will kick off in February 2012.  An assembly kickoff will occur at each elementary campus February 15 -17, 2012.  During the campaign, elementary students and staff members sell cards that offer savings at local restaurants.  Major Saver cards can be purchased at your local elementary campus beginning on February 15, 2012.  Orders will be collected at each elementary campus by Major Saver February 20 - 27, 2012.

Half of the proceeds raised go to the GPISD Education Foundation to fund Innovative Teaching Grants and the other half goes directly to the elementary campus.  The monies raised help support many programs not included in the school district's budget, including the 3rd Grade Fine Arts field trip, and the 5th Grade Trinity River Audubon field trip.  Please show your support by purchasing your 2012 Major Saver card while also enjoying the savings.
