Purchasing/repairing District Radios

When purchasing or repairing of District Radios please adhere to the following procedures:

• Notify Transportation at 972-343-4446 (Charleen Green) of your request to purchase radios.
• Transportation will secure a quote for the appropriate model of radio.
• Transportation will provide the campus with the vendor, model and price.
• The campus will then initiate a requisition. Important: state on requisition “quote received from Charleen”.
• After the requisition has been submitted and approved, the PO should be faxed to Charleen at (972) 343-4451.
• Charleen will place the order with the vendor.
• Upon delivery to Transportation, the radio will be programmed, bar coded, added to the District inventory, and delivered to the campus.
