- What is the theme of Prom?

- Where is prom located?
- Prom will be at Grand Prairie Events and Convention in the Epic District, next to Chicken and
Pickle. 2925 S State Hwy 161, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
- What time is prom?
- 7:30-11:30
- How much are the prom tickets?
- Tickets are $100 dollars
- Where can I purchase a ticket?
- Tickets can be purchased online at www.myschoolbucks.com or with cash in room 617 with
Ms. Williamson during all lunches or before/after school.
- Can I bring a guest?
- Yes, every guest must fill out a guest form and turn it into room 617 by April 12, 2024. Your
guest cannot be 21 or older. Even if you guest is a current GPHS student, he/she will need to complete a guest form.
- Who can attend prom?
- Prom guest 14-20
- GPHS High school student 14-18. (NO MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS ALLOWED)
- 9th or 10th grade student you must be asked by an upper classman.
- Where can I pick up the guest form?
- You can pick up the guest form in room 617 or the main office.
- What is the dress requirement for prom?
- Dress is formal/black tie. You can wear nice, pressed jeans with boots and a dress jacket.
- TENNIS SHOES ARE NOT ALLOWED!
- Are IDs required?
- Yes, you and your guest must bring your student/DL/State ID to the prom.
- Can I get a refund if I cannot go?
- No refunds are offered. If you are unable to attend the prom, then you can find someone to
buy your ticket from you. You and the person that bought the ticket must then go see
Ms. Williamson in room 617 to make the change.

Arrival, Dismissal, and Traffic Flow Information
Arrival
- Car Rider drop off is allowed in Option 1, 2, and 3 traffic loops ONLY.
- Drop off is NOT allowed in any Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy traffic zones!
- Student Drivers are only allowed to park in the designated student lot across from the main building. Violations of this rule will result in loss of parking privileges. Students parking on Walter Hill Drive, or other locations off of GPISD property, are subject to GPPD traffic violations, ticketing, and towing. Parking passes are free and can be picked up from Mrs. Jones in the Main Office (you will need to provide your license plate number).
- Doors open at 7:00am. Students are allowed to eat and wait for class to begin in designated cafeteria areas. Seniors may use the Student Union. Students attending morning tutoring sessions must have a signed hall pass from their teacher.
- Students are released to classrooms at 7:25am
- Tardy bell rings at 7:35am. All exterior doors will be locked after 7:35am and students arriving late will be required to enter through the Main Office security entrance.
Dismissal
- Car Rider pickup is allowed in Option 1 and Option 2 traffic loops ONLY.
- Pick up is NOT allowed in any Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy traffic zones!
- Car Riders must be picked up within 30 minutes of dismissal bell.
- School ends at 3:00pm
- Busses depart campus from bus loop across from Turner Gym. Students have 10 minutes from dismissal bell to get to their assigned bus. IDs must be presented to bus driver and worn during all bus trips.
