The Maintenance and Operations Department is prepared to service the students and staff of the District.
All
maintenance repair requests should be turned in on the work order
system(see below) by the principal, campus secretary or kitchen
manager.
Any emergency
requests should be called in to the Maintenance and Operations Dispatch
Office at 972-343-4455. Please refrain from calling a request in
unless it is truly an emergency. By minimizing the number of calls to
the dispatch office we can allow the dispatcher ample time to devote to
emergency calls. The repair requests are seen by the dispatcher as
soon as you turn them in on the system, there is no need to call in to
make sure it was received.
Your custodial staff should be able to perform simple maintenance tasks such as:
Lighting pilot lights
Changing light bulbs
Removing graffiti
Tightening screws for hinges, rails and door knobs
Changing ceiling tiles not requiring scaffolds
Unclogging minor sink and toilet obstructions
Setting time clocks
Replacing torn/damaged basketball nets
Monitoring playground equipment for broken equipment or unsafe conditions
Schooldude Work Order System
Our
work order system is accessible via the Internet. Each campus should
have a designated member of the office staff registered with
SchoolDude. The kitchen managers are also registered with SchoolDude
and they are able to enter work requests for the kitchens.
Please contact Cheryl Schoeneman at 972-343-4482 for registration information. You must register with Cheryl before you can access the site.
Once you are given a user name and password for Schooldude you may follow these simple steps to enter your work requests:
1. Go to myschoolbuilding.com on the Internet.
2. Enter account number 961239313.
3. Enter your email address.

You can create a shortcut on your desktop for this site by right
clicking with your mouse once you are logged in and you have the work
order page available.
5. Create your work order and submit.
The
first time you create a work order you must define your location, which
is your campus. The next time you enter the system your campus will be
the location default. Campus secretaries will have access to the
entire campus and the campus kitchen. The kitchen managers will only
have access to their kitchen.
Schooldude
is very user friendly! There is a "Help" tab at the top of the screen
on the right hand side. You can click there to view contact numbers
and actually download and/or print a requester manual.
