Congratulations Adams!
Adams Middle School has been recognized as one of three GPISD middle schools with improved attendance!  Adams' last nine weeks average daily attendance was compared with this nine weeks average daily attendance, and Adams had the second highest percentage of improvement among middle schools.  School attendance is obviously very important.  Our students can't learn and succeed if they are not in class.  Thanks to our parents who are partnering with Adams to get our students here!

Grand Prairie Independent School District
Rachel's Challenge Rally
Grand Prairie ISD is having a district-wide Rachel's Challenge Rally  (Rachel's Challenge Rally in Spanish) to stop bullying.  All schools in the district will have 100 students or more attending.  The students will parade into the Gopher Bowl (Grand Prairie High School's football stadium) carrying paper chains representing acts of kindness on their campus.  It promises to be a great event for a great cause and we want Adams MS to be fully represented.  Please make it possible for your student to attend and be a part of this great reminder to be kind to one another!  Students who plan to attend should go to the counselors office to sign a committment letter that they will be attending.  Students will meet at Turner Gym at GPHS at 6pm on Tuesday to prepare for the Rally.  Call the counselors for more information, 972-262-1934, or click on the links above.

Panther Camp is for ALL Adams students who want to attend.  Panther Camp is a funfilled summer program to reinforce knowledge and skills that students already have, and/or to help students who need to develop knowledge and skiils, particularly in math and english.  The students will experience lessons that are based on real-world skills in a fun interactive way.  ALL students would benefit from Panther Camp!  Please click on the link above for more information.  We hope to see YOUR student there!
