GPISD employs three truant offiers to assist students and parents in understanding and complying with Texas State Compulsory Attendance Laws.  Students age six through eighteen are required by law to be in attendance in a Texas school.  Good attendance is a major success tool for every student, and a goal every student can achieve.  The Truancy Program office is housed at Boze Learning Center.
