Diversity Program
The Grand Prairie ISD Diversity Program has three main objectives:
To value differences; there are all kinds of differences the most obvious and the primary focus of the Grand Prairie ISD Diversity Training Program is racial, ethnic, gender and socio-economic class. Valuing difference in individuals' perspectives, ways of communicating and ways of solving problems are all part of diversity. To create an environment of inclusion that supports the development of all groups of people, e.g. students, teachers and support personnel. To challenge the district to strip away barriers that prevent diverse students from succeeding.
