As Instructional Technology Facilitator, my primary role is to assist and support teachers in their use of technology. I provide training, model lessons, and collaborate on lessons to use with students

  In The Spotlight
Milam Elementary has joined with the Mayflower School in Santiago, Chile, to participate in an International Publisher's Exchange. Students from both schools will design and write books for the students in their partner school. Students will use StoryBook Weaver software to publish their books. Then, students will bind the books using binding kits.
In addition to sharing books, third grade students from each school will become e-pals and exchange e-mails with each other, sharing information about their schools, customs, and countries.
Milam Elementary students and teachers are extremely excited about this project. Look for more information about the project, and student books on our web site in the near future.
