By doing so students were able to share their performances of their "fractured fairy tails." Additionally, special thanks to Scholastic for copy right permission to record the performances. |

In the Fall of 2006 GPISD took a step forward as teachers began to assess students' reading abilities electronically. The result has been increased instructional time, easier evaluation of students' needs and earlier intervention. Now in its second year of implementation the initiative has begun to evolve through collaboration with the assistance of literacy strategists, teachers, administrators and technology to further improve the process so that it becomes seamless. |
