PTA

The Austin PTA is dedicated to fostering a good working relationship between parents, staff and community. The PTA meets the second Tuesday of each month. All interested parties are invited to join the PTA

Dues are only $5 per person.

To join, fill out a membership form and send it with your $ to your child's homeroom teacher.
If you have more than one child at Austin, your membership will count for all of their classrooms.

It is never too late to join PTA!

Mission

The PTA's Mission is to provide parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child and the best tools to help their children be safe, healthy, and successful - in school and in life.

The overall purpose of PTA:

A powerful voice for all children,
A relevant resource for families and communities, and
A strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.

Current Initiatives

The PTA sponsors many events during the year that benefit the students and community. Events include the Fall Carnival, Book Fairs, Food Drive, Class Parties, Red Ribbon Week, field trips, and assemblies.
