Thank you for visiting our school website.  We are always excited to know that our community wants to learn more about the exciting things happening here at Dickinson Elementary! I am so thankful to be at such an amazing school where the staff is truly dedicated to doing what is best for our students! 

This is my 12^thyear serving Grand Prairie students. After graduating from the University of Texas in Arlington, I began my teaching career at Houston Elementary in 1999-2003 and taught at Powell Elementary from 2004-2009. In 2009, I earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas and became a Literacy Strategist where I served at both Houston (2009-2010) and Lee Elementary School(2010-2011).  In 2011, I joined the Dickinson family as Assistant Principal. Curriculum and instruction remain dear to my heart, and I am fully committed to being an instructional leader at Dickinson. 

As a mother, I also know the important role that parents play in their child’s education.  To help foster that role, I hope that you will take an opportunity to visit with me and discuss ways we can improve our school.  With us working together, I firmly believe the students at Dickinson will reach new heights of success!

I’m thrilled to have the privilege to share another school year with the Dickinson Cowboys and look forward to our many accomplishments!
