Due to concerns about swine flu, the decision has been made to cancel the Cinco de Mayo celebration and move it to Saturday, September 12.

Each year the Cinco de Mayo committee in conjunction with GPISD,
City of Grand Prairie, HACE, and other community businesses and organizations work together to have a Cinco de Mayo celebration.
We have an art contest for GPISD student’s K-12, a parade, an all day celebration with food booths and entertainment. We raise money
for student scholarships for GPISD seniors
