  • You’re on Your Way! A message from Superintendent Linda Ellis

Dear Parents and Students of the Class of 2021,

We are very excited about seeing you at graduation on May 29 at Globe Life Field. It will be a thrill for me to be with you as you cross home plate to receive your diploma! The members of the Grand Prairie ISD Board of Trustees made it very clear that our graduates need a world-class graduation ceremony, and we know that the staff at Globe Life Field will make it happen!

The purpose of the graduation toolkit that we are sending is to give you and your family all the information you will need when you come to your graduation ceremony. Everything you need to know is here—details about tickets, parking information, and much more.

I am extremely proud of each of you and your accomplishments. You have not allowed a global pandemic to slow you down or get you off track. You are “overcomers” and have proven to all that you have what it takes to navigate tough challenges. Class of 2021, you are a winning team!

Now that graduation is near, I urge each of you to take a moment to express your gratitude to your parents, family, and friends for supporting you along the way. We all owe our success in life to others who have supported us, and this is a great way to say “thank you.”

I am grateful that I will see you soon at Globe Life Field and celebrate your success!

    Linda Ellis
    Superintendent
