Powell's Counselor Corner

I am the school counselor at Powell, and I would like to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year.  As the school counselor, I am here to provide support to students, families, and teachers to help ensure student success. 

On this page you will find links to several resources that may be helpful throughout the year.  There is also a link to a counseling referral form that you can complete if you would like me to visit with your child.  You are also welcome to email me or call.

Counseling Referral - Parent

The vision for the students at Powell is that they would grow to be well-rounded individuals able to successfully adjust in our ever-changing society.  They will also be kind, compassionate individuals who are ready to make a positive change in the world.

The mission of Powell Elementary's counseling program is to provide a comprehensive counseling program for all students focusing on academic, career, and social/emotional development.  Focusing on these areas will provide a strong foundation for the students, which will assist them as they develop into independent, successful, kind individuals.
