Debra Hartman

Counselor M-Z

Hello! My name is Debbie Hartman and this is my 9th year at Reagan and 8th year in Grand Prairie ISD. Before coming to Reagan, I was a high school counselor for several years in Fort Worth, Katy, South Texas and even a year in the Bush of Alaska in Scammon Bay (ask me about tasting whale). Before becoming a counselor, I helped with the growth of the AVID program in Fort Worth ISD. Helping students become College and Career Ready has always been very important to me. But my passion is students. I truly believe education is a calling. I cannot remember a time where I did not want to be a teacher/counselor.

I am a mom to 4 of the most amazing adults. Three girls and a son. My oldest daughter teaches 7th grade Texas History and AVID! (yes, I am one proud momma) But my pride and joy are my granddaughters. One is a 7th grader and the other is 6 going into 1st grade!

I absolutely love being a part of the Reagan Knight family. We have a very strong staff who genuinely care about the future of our students. Please do not hesitate to call, drop by or email me with any concerns. My door is always open!

Ciara Reese

Counselor A-L

Howdy Knights! My name is Ciara Reese your new school counselor!
After serving junior knights in the science lab for several years, I have transitioned into an official office. As your new counselor, I am eager to effuse my passions for the social and emotional wholeness and support each knight through their unique stages of development.

Through personal encounters with unsupported mental and emotional disparity, my core belief is that every individual has the right and natural inclination to feel supported and connected. It is my hope that I can assist in fostering support and connection for each member of the Reagan Knight family.

In addition to my Reagan family, I go home each day to my charismatic husband, six siblings, combined 15 nieces and nephews, and two happily married parents of 30 years! My life has been filled with wisdom and love that I have more than enough to give to my 1000 member Reagan family.

I am uber excited for the opportunity to focus solely on showing my Reagan family how much I love them and all that we can accomplish together. Please do not hesitate to visit, call, or contact me through cyberspace.
