Tanya R. Gilliam, Principal

Ms. Gilliam is completing her 25^th year in education, with 16 of those years being in Grand Prairie ISD. She began her career in the Dallas Independent School District as a teacher. Ms. Gilliam has taught in Dallas ISD, Aldine ISD, and Irving ISD. She began her administrative experience in Grand Prairie ISD.

Ms. Gilliam earned her bachelor's degree from Texas Woman's University and master's degree in educational administration from Texas Southern University in Houston. She is a doctoral candidate at Texas Tech University pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership. In her spare time, she loves to take cycle classes, cruise, and relax in nature.
