Pre-K

Pre-k student drop off is at door #11 from 7:30 to 8:10 a.m.

Please drive around the school to door #11. Our staff will be there to meet you at your vehicle and help your student out of the car and walk them into the building and to their classroom. Please do not get out of your vehicle.

If you pull into the drive at 8:10 or after, plan to drop your child off at the front of the building (door #1).
Promptly at 8:10 a.m. all staff must begin instruction and any students arriving after this time will need to be signed in and receive a TARDY NOTICE at Door #1. Parents may be required to wait for the teacher to be able to come pick their student up from the office and walk them to class.
Kindergarten - 5th grade

K-5th grade Students will enter at Door #2 (cafeteria) from 7:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. Our staff will be there to meet students at the vehicle and monitor as they walk into the building. Parents do not get out of the vehicle.

Do not park in the front parking lot or in the staff parking lot on the east side of the building. If you wish to park you may only park on the street level.

From 7:50 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. students will enter at Door #1 (main entrance)

Dismissal
For the safety and security of our students, dismissal will strictly require the presentation of a valid school car tag or a government-issued ID of legal guardian or emergency contact listed on Skyward. No exceptions will be made. Please ensure you have picked-up the car before the first day of school or before you leave on the 1st morning.
Every student will receive 2 complimentary car tags this school year. To pick up your child during dismissal, you must present a car tag every single day, starting on the first day. If you don't have a car tag, stop by the front office to obtain a one-day pick-up pass.
Dismissal Pick-up Locations:
Please refer to the attached map for dismissal routes. Parents are not allowed to park in the visitor parking lot in front of the school or in the east parking lot and walk-up to pick-up their child, please park on the street (Palmer Trail).
Pre-K Students Pick up Options:

Car Rider pick up at door # 11 at 3:20 p.m.

Car Rider with older siblings at door # 9 at 3:35 p.m.
NOTE: Pre-k students are not allowed under any circumstance to walk home with older siblings. They will only be released to a parent or guardian.
K-5th grade Student Dismissal Options:
Multiple Children Pick-up Accommodations:
If you have multiple children at our campus, PLEASE communicate with all teachers so that we can arrange for all of them to be seated together to speed up dismissal.
Parent Walk-up:
For kindergarten through 5th grade studentsIf you prefer to walk up to pick up your child, please let your teacher know by completing this form and your students will be at the parent walk-up location at the cafeteria entrance by the front office (door #2).Please remember that for the safety of the students, they cannot switch from parent walk-up to car rider daily. The Car Tag must be presented when receiving your child at the door - NO EXCEPTIONS.
Student Walkers:
Parents allowing their children to walk home in the neighborhood must fill out a release form before the student is allowed to walk home. Please communicate with your child’s teacher once you complete the form. Students will not be allowed to walk until the form has been filled out and the teacher verifies that it is complete. Pre-K students are not allowed to walk home with siblings.
After School Dismissal Tips

Have Your Car Tag Ready:

Ensure your car tag is visible and ready before entering the pick-up lane. No exceptions will be made for picking up students without a car tag. If you do not have a car tag, you will need to go to the front office with your ID to receive a one-day pick-up pass.

Remain in your vehicle while in the pick-up lane:

Leaving your vehicle unattended can cause congestion and delays.

Use the Right Lane for Pick-Up:

Enter the right lane if you are picking up a student. This lane is designated for car rider pick-up only.

Be Patient and Courteous:
-
Follow the campus instructions and be courteous to other drivers to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal process for everyone.

Keep Moving Forward:
-
Once in the pick-up lane, continue to move forward as directed by the staff until you reach the designated pick-up spot. Do not allow other cars to merge into the pick up lane. They must enter at the entrance where names are being collected.

Obey Traffic Signs and Signals:
-
Adhere to all posted traffic signs and signals within the school zone and pick-up area.
-
Do not disregard the directions given by school staff. They are there to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal process.

Only pick up students from the designated locations:

Do not attempt to pick up from other areas of the school.

Use the Designated Buckle-Up Zone:
-
For parents picking up PK3-PK4 students, utilize the designated buckle-up zone to safely buckle your student before exiting the campus. Do not get out to buckle your student(s) as they are being loaded.
