PEIMS reporting requirements should be thought of as rules for submitting a set of data files, rather than the requirements for filing a report.

The Texas Education Agency collects a large amount of data concerning Texas students, teachers, schools, and school finances. This data is used by a variety of TEA program areas to measure and assure compliance with State and Federal requirements.

GPISD has chosen Skyward's School Management System to house our PEIMS data.  Skyward has become a preferred SIS vendor by the TEA for every public school district in the state of  Texas.  PEIMS reporting happens four times a year.  Skyward has all the submission requirements programmed directly into the software, so PEIMS reporting can become smoother, easier, and more accurate.
