    The Grand Prairie ISD Instructional Media program provides lifelong learning skills for 21st century learners. The program ensures that all staff and students are empowered with information literacy and emerging technologies through collaborative lessons designed with Instructional Media staff. The love of reading and literacy is fostered by providing access to both print and electronic resources.

Instructional Media / Library

  • The library is open for check in and check out from 8:10-3:30.

    Our goal is to provide teachers with engaging lessons in the library and through the use of iPads that will enhance and extend what students are learning in the classroom. The lessons provided are listed by grade, subject, and performance indicator from TCMPC, and are based on the curriculum standards set forth by the district. Additionally, we maintain the libraries and technology at two schools in GPISD as well as train teachers and students to use the software provided by GPISD.
