    Bowie Fine Arts Academy began as a traditional elementary school in 1951 and reopened as a fine arts academy in a brand new state-of-the art facility in the fall of 2018. BFAA offers an engaging and rigorous fine arts experience with an underlying primary purpose of helping students grow academically, socially and artistically.

  • Fine Arts in Traditional and other Schools of Choice Campuses

    Art and music are a designated part of the curriculum at all GPISD elementary schools. Fulltime certified music and art teachers are employed at each campus to ensure a well-rounded educational experience for each child.* Orchestra is also offered after school at two campuses: Bush Global Leadership Academy and Garner Fine Arts Academy.
