The mission of the Grand Prairie ISD English Language Arts Program is to inspire students to become literate and productive critical thinkers, readers, and writers and to empower educators with effective resources to make literacy accessible for all students.

Goals

• To foster a curiosity and love of reading, writing, and life-long learning in our students
• To improve student academic performance and prepare students for college and career readiness
• To coordinate quality staff development sessions that promote best instructional practices
• To provide students and teachers with high-quality aligned instructional materials and supplies
