2021-2022 Mini-Grant Applications
The start date for accepting 2021-2022 mini-grant applications is DECEMBER 1, 2021.
The deadline for receipt of applications is JANUARY 31, 2022; No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
Applications must be submitted by email only.
The GPISD Education Foundation (GPISD-EF) Grant Program is designed to encourage & facilitate innovative and/or creative educational approaches to student learning. Grants must enhance student academic performance and support the objectives, goals & initiatives of both the Campus and the District.
All GPISD District Employees who have responsibility for student education and learning.
How Funds Are Awarded
The number of Mini-Grants awarded will depend entirely upon the available funds of the GPISD Education Foundation.
Mini-Grants of up to $500 (including shipping) will be awarded based on the criteria outlined below:
- Only one (1) Mini-Grant per Educator per school year will be awarded
- Grant applications must meet the deadline for submission as posted on the GPISD website
- Grants are not funded for:
- Building Maintenance
- Down payments on larger purchases
- Compensation or stipends
Responsibilities of the Grand Recipients
Use the Mini-Grant Awards in full alignment with the grant application as submitted.
Follow all of the GPISD policies and procedures for purchases and procurement.
Agree to share success stories in future staff development meetings of how your grant award impacted the classroom and the students.
Prepare a brief report (preferably with a picture to share with the GPISD-EF donors) of how the award impacted the classroom and assisted in meeting the District Learning Objectives.
