    The Grand Prairie Collegiate Institute (GPCI) is a premiere school of choice that focuses on accelerated instruction with pre-advanced placement, advanced placement, and dual credit courses to prepare students for post-secondary education. We are a designated Texas-Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics campus that promotes engineering, aerospace, and Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) curriculum.

  • ECHS GP Grand Prairie Early College High School | 9-12 

    Grand Prairie Early College High School is a small high school designed to offer students a personalized and supportive college-preparatory environment as well as an opportunity to earn an associate degree from Dallas College. Students that apply to the Nursing Academy will receive advanced certifications, hands-on nursing experience, internships, and targeted instruction leading to a nursing degree.

  • SGP ECHS South Grand Prairie Early College High School | 9-12 

    South Grand Prairie Early College High School exposes students to dual credit courses as early as the 9th grade and gives them the opportunity to earn an associate degree from Dallas College before they graduate from high school. Students are provided with many support systems as well an intentional environment that immerses students in a college-going culture.

  • Education & Leadership Preparatory Academy | 9-12

    Preparing for a career in Education, students develop professional life skills and participate in field experiences through the University of Texas at Arlington and various intern experiences through Grand Prairie ISD. Since Education careers require a college degree, GPISD Education & Leadership Preparatory Academy offers students 30 or more hours of college credit through the University of Texas at Arlington.
    These dual-credit hours may be applied toward a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree and students will be prepared in college to take the TExES EC-6th certification exams. Upon earning college degree and teacher certification, students will be eligible to teach in ESL and Bilingual shortage areas in the state of Texas.

    Upon high school graduation, students who continue on to UTA in the College of Education will be offered a Teacher Aide position with Grand Prairie ISD for employment during college. In addition to a high school diploma, students who have completed the Education & Leadership Preparatory Academy will receive a pending contract to become an Educator in Grand Prairie ISD upon earning college degree and teacher certification.
