Welcome Austin Longhorns, my name is Dalia Aguilar. I' am honored to be the Assistant Principal at a place where students come first. I attended Grand Prairie schools as a child and I'am proud to call Austin my childhood elementary school. I received my M.Ed from Dallas Baptist University where I studied servant leadership. My goal is to serve the families and students here at Austin, together we can help students achieve excellence.

I was a bilingual teacher for many years in all subject areas. My favorite subject to teach is science because of all the scientific inquiry and innovative opportunities students have to learn and explore. I believe in creating fun and engaging learning experiences.

Our mission is to provide all students with a safe learning environment where they can all learn and respect each other. Student achievement is our priority and our main focus is to create life-long learners. Every student here at Austin will be be encouraged to collaborate and problem solve by exploring environmental science.
