5th Grade Trinity River Audubon Center Experience

  • Trinity River Audubon Center The GPISD Education Foundation has funded the cost for all GPISD 5th graders to attend Trinity River Audubon Center each year since 2009.

    • Pond Investigation
    • River Geology


    The Eco-Investigation program includes the following: 1 hour hike, 45 minute animal adaptation lesson, lunch, and another 45 minute pond sampling lesson. Audubon Educators are at each station leading the activities, and GPISD teachers receive information about logistics, lessons and general information from the Natural Science Education Center web page.
