Complete College Applications

Use the following resources to identify colleges you're interested in:

• Princeton Review - www.princetonreview.com
• College Greenlight - www.collegegreenlight.com

Create an account on www.applytexas.org to apply to Texas colleges and universities.

For schools outside of Texas, use the specific college website or other online applications such as the Common App
(www.commonapp.org) and the Coalition App (www.mycoalition.org) to apply.

Apply for Scholarships

Use the following resources to identify scholarships to apply to:

• Go Center Scholarship List - https://www.fwisd.org/Page/2506
• College Greenlight - www.collegegreenlight.com
• GPISD Scholarships - www.gpisd.org/Page/41676

Consider applying for competitive, full-ride scholarships such as the Gates Scholarship and the Questbridge Scholarship:

• Gates Scholarship - Due September 18th - www.thegatesscholarship.org/scholarship
• Questbridge Scholarship - Due September 28th - www.questbridge.org

Apply for Financial Aid

Create an FSA ID at www.fsaid.ed.gov.

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after the application opens on Oct. 1 at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

• For non-citizens classified as Texas Residents, complete the Texas Application for State Financial Aid instead (applications
  available in the College and Career Center).
