A Cup of Encouragement
This activity is a great way to do a random act of kindness with a neighbor or a friend! This can be as simple or elaborate as you’d like it to be. Have your child(ren) help put these together and write an encouraging note (younger children can draw a picture) on a sticky note, card or paper to add to this sweet treat!
What you'll need:
- A mug or disposable coffee cup
- Packet of instant coffee, tea, or cocoa

DIY Piggy Bank

The best part is these piggy banks can be made with simple household items that won’t be used anymore without breaking your bank!
What you’ll need:
- An old canister, bottle, or box

***Due to the pandemic, some places don’t allow holiday cards so make sure you call your place of choice beforehand to see if they accept holiday cards for their patients!
