The Austin Environmental Science Academy Counseling program will empower all students to reach their maximum potential by using a comprehensive program that addresses academic, personal/social, and career goals.

Mission Statement

The mission of the School Counseling Program at Austin Environmental Science Academy is to provide a supportive environment for instruction by working cooperatively with stakeholders to promote academic, social and career development.

The professional school counselor will provide this support through individual, group, and classroom lessons while collaborating with the resources available to ensure student growth in a diverse and competitive society.

If you need to talk to your counselor, please complete the Check-in with the counselor form, and Mrs. Richards will get back with you as soon as possible. If you would rather talk via phone, send an email with your phone number; or if you feel more comfortable communicating through email - that's an option too: felicia.richards@gpisd.org.

Parents

If you'd like to refer your child to talk to the counselor, please complete the Individual Counseling Appointment for Student form, and Mrs. Richards will get back with you as soon as possible. You can call her directly at 972-343-4620.
