What is stress and how do we deal with it as a family?
Stress is what you feel when you are worried or uncomfortable about something. This feeling can have effects on how we act and how our body feels. If you do not deal with stress in positive ways, you may experience headaches or stomachaches.
How can I teach my child mindfulness during this stressful situation?
Mindfulness is being aware and present in the moment. It is the opposite of rushing and multi-tasking. Being mindful will help us slow down and relax when we become overwhelmed. This takes practice. Below are some different resources to teach your child and yourself the skill of mindfulness.
