Welcome to fifth grade! This is going to be such an amazing year. Some of the new things we'll be learning this year are the processes that led to the formation of fossil fuels, perfecting the writing process, and the order of math operations!

What can you expect this year?

Homework: Your child will have math and reading homework each night. Sometimes homework from science will also be assigned. Make sure you are signing their planner each night so that you are aware of what is going on at school!

Behavior: We will be using Class Dojo to track your child's behavior in all classes. 

Communication: Planners and Class Dojo will be the primary methods of daily communication this year. However, feel free to email your student's teachers if you have any further questions.
