It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I welcome you to explore the educational opportunities offered at Sallye Moore College and Career Preparatory Academy. We are uniquely configured in that we serve students Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, and through our Advanced Academics Program we have students attending Dubiski High School (daily) as early as the Seventh Grade. I invite you to join a learning community that is actively preparing our scholars to be COLLEGE and CAREER READY!
The staff of Sallye Moore is committed to our mission of providing your child an engaging, rigorous, and safe learning environment. Instruction is differentiated to meet the needs of all learners. Our teachers work collaboratively to design lessons that are tailored to the individual scholar’s learning style while giving our scholars hands-on opportunities to explore and experience the concepts. Through the continuous efforts of our faculty/staff, parents and community partners, our goal is to increase improving student achievement.
As we progress through this year we will focus on the five key areas:
- Improving student achievement
- Focus on Instruction (Balanced Literacy and Numeracy)
- Using student data to improve instructional practice and drive instruction
- Increasing student leadership opportunities
- Increasing positive Parental and Community Involvement
Parents play a key role in the academic success of our students. Our instructional program is far more effective with your active participation. We encourage you to visit the campus, volunteer, and attend meetings regularly. We want you to stay connected and know that your partnership makes a difference at Sallye Moore! Thank you in advance for the support you will extend toward the Moore Staff as we work diligently to fulfill our commitment to providing our scholars an excellent educational experience. Sallye Moore College and Career Preparatory Academy strives to be your “School of Choice”!
