TCU Announces Four Directions Scholars Program
FORT WORTH, TEXAS (Aug. 8, 2023) – Texas Christian University today announced the Four Directions Scholars Program for two first-year undergraduate students who are citizens of a federally-recognized tribe. Applications will be accepted this fall for students entering TCU in fall 2024.
Two four-year scholarships, consisting of full tuition as well as room and board, will be given annually (pending recipients’ meeting the university’s eligibility requirements for receiving financial aid). Recipients also will receive support while at TCU by participating in a mentorship program. The scholarship is open to incoming first-year undergraduate students who are citizens of a federally-recognized tribe. -

Knowledge River Scholars- The program is a center for the study of information resources and technology issues related to American Indians and Hispanics at the University of Arizona. It receives a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Science to recruit more Hispanics and American Indians into library and information science degree programs.
