How to Get Your Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Card
Check your mail! Insurance cards have been mailed to the address on file at the time of open enrollment.
- To obtain a digital insurance card log on to the BCBS portal, click here for instructions. BCBS per your request will send a card copy directly to the physician or pharmacy if needed.
Employees enrolled in a Blue Essentials plan, a card will not be issued until you have selected a PCP.
How do I know if I have a Blue Essentials plan?
- Log in to the BCBS Member Portal or check your pay stub. Blue Essentials plans are listed on the pay stub as ‘Blue Cross Low’ and ‘HSA Low’
How do I select my PCP?
- Log in to the BCBS Member Portal to select your PCP, obtain a digital insurance card, access claims, coverage, and other useful information.
- Call BCBS Customer service number 1-800-521-2227
