Moseley first graders are busy every day with a variety of literacy skills. One of the goals of the first grade teachers is to have all of their students "fall in love with reading”!

Science and Social Studies are integrated into reading. This allows students to apply their reading skills in order to attain knowledge  by reading various informational texts.

Our students use mathematical thinking skills to solve problems and think critically.
