Fall 2020 Meal Pick-Up Information

  • Starting February 26, 2021, we will give weekend meals at our Grab and Go sites below during regular pick up time on Fridays (10:30-12:30). There will be 2 breakfast and 2 lunches (frozen with heating instructions) for both Saturday and Sunday.

Grand Prairie ISD Child Nutrition Services is excited to be able to offer free meals to all children 18 years of age and younger.

The USDA recently announced an extension of funding that provides this opportunity through the end of the 2020-2021 school year or before based on availability of funding. Families who have not completed a free and reduced-price meal application for the 2020-2021 school year should submit one as soon as possible at www.gpisd.org/mealbenefits.

Beginning Monday, September 14, 2020, all in-person learners can now receive daily cafeteria meals at no cost, while virtual learners can pick up free curbside meals Monday through Friday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at five campus locations.  Children younger than school age and any non-GPISD students who live in Grand Prairie can also receive free curbside meals at the following campus locations:

    • Mike Moseley Elementary
    • Fannin Middle School
    • Crosswinds Accelerated High School
    • South Grand Prairie High School
    • Young Women’s Leadership Academy

In order to pick up grab and go meals, students must be present, or parents will need to provide one of the following forms of documentation for each child:

    • Birth certificate
    • Student report card
    • Student ID card
