Learning Virtually is Fun!
  • It's the first day of school? Now what?

Here's your step-by-step guide to our virtual instruction model for all students through September 18. Check out the video below for a walk-through of our virtual platforms.

Step One: Review Your Credit Sheet

All credit sheets will be updated virtually this year. You've asked for it, and we've made it happen!

Your credit sheet is located in your Google drive under "Shared with Me" by Ms. Peterman or Ms. Waggoner. Our counseling team will update these nightly with credits earned from the previous day. Pretty cool, huh?

Step Two: Check Out Your Schedule

Sign into your Google drive and view your schedule. You will have four teachers that are certified across content areas. Your classes will be small, thus some teachers you may have had in the past, say for Economics, might be taught by another teacher in the department. (Think COLLEGE!)

It is also important to notice what session you are required to attend Zoom calls for (morning or afternoon). If your schedule says 1-4, you will follow the morning schedule. If your schedule says 5-8, you will follow the afternoon schedule.

Step Three: Log in to Canvas

Make sure you log in to Canvas and you are enrolled in one to four courses based on your graduation plan. You will work on your courses during your assigned Zoom calls. You may continue to work on your courses before or after your session, but you do not have to Zoom with your teacher.

    Step Four: Time to Zoom

It's 7:30 a.m. (if you are a morning student) or 12:00 p.m. (if you are an afternoon student), and it's time for class! How do I log in?

See the google document with our teacher zoom links. Find the correct teacher and click their link to join their zoom classroom. There, you will receive additional instruction, notes, tutoring, and academic guidance. Trust us - it's the best way to stay on top of your work from home.

    Step Five: Repeat!

Repeat these steps daily for remote learning success. Remember, you can call or email if you have questions or need additional services. We are here for YOU!
