Additionally, instruction is differentiated to meet the needs of all learners. Curriculum Offerings
Gifted and Talented - Gifted and Talented classes are offered for students who meet the district criteria for participation. The Grand Prairie ISD Advanced Academics/Gifted and Talented Program is committed to ensuring that our highest ability learners are challenged to meet their potential and that curriculum and learning opportunities are in line with their needs, interests, and abilities.
ESL/Dual Language - 2-way Dual Language classes are available at every grade level.
Pre-K - Full day Pre-Kindergarten classes are available.

Extracurricular Opportunities
Kindness Crew- We promote kindness and compassion for all students at our school. As part of the kindness crew, students help with activities and events for our campus like kindness challenges, bully prevention activities, community service projects, career day, and welcome new students. To our campus.
Technology Club – Students collaborate with their peers and teacher to learn new technology skills. They then use their new skills to be technology leaders on their campus.
STEP Team- Students in 3rd-5th grade have the opportunity to participate in this dance club.
Garden Club – Students learn where their food comes from and about the world around them.
Cooking Club - Students learn math concepts and how to follow recipes through cooking and baking.
Fitness Club – Students learn about body movement and physical fitness through exercise.
Handprints on Hearts – Students will meet with mentors and discuss their day and their interests.
Chess Club – Students learn how to use strategy and critical thinking to play the game of chess.
Drum Club – Students learn different bucket drumming techniques through exploring popular and classical music.
Art Club – Students learn art techniques and history as they complete art pieces.

When can my child participate in the Dual Language Program?
English speaking students can enter the Dual Language program, from Pre-K to First Grade. Spanish speaking students qualify through language. They would be able to start PreK-5th grade pending language results.

What does the Dual Language Program look like? (homework, language of instruction, etc..)
GPISD uses the Gomez/Gomez program for supporting students in Dual Language. There are components that assist students in their native language and to acquire a second language.
Language of Instruction:
- Reading/Language Arts: PK-1st Grade: Native Language; 2nd-5th: 50% in English and 50% in Spanish
- Science and Social Studies Instruction: Spanish
- Math Instruction: English

What does Pre-Kindergarten at Moseley look like?
Pre-Kindergarten at Moseley is full day. All students participate in the Dual Language Program as well as Fine Arts and PE.
