Students in the Engineering Pathway at Grand Prairie Collegiate Institute will gain an understanding of the civil professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about aerospace engineering which explores the development of an aircraft and spacecraft.
