Students in the Cosmetology Pathway at Dubiski Career High School will gain an understanding of the theory and practical skills of hair, skin, and nails with the expectations of earning a cosmetology license upon completion of the required 1,000 clock hours of instruction. Once students have passed the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) written and practical state board exams they will be licensed to practice cosmetology in the state of Texas. Our program is regulated by TDLR, we have random inspections, and therefore we run the class similarly to a real salon.
