You can choose to teach one of two categories:

Academic:

• AM Session
• Work hours: 7:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
• Must be K-5 reading, writing, or math teachers

Enrichment:

• PM Session
• Work hours: 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• Teachers from any grade and any subject

We also have other positions available:

• SPED teachers and aides
• Instructional coach
  • must be K-5 reading, writing, or math teacher, or current instructional coach in the district
• Enrichment coach:
  • previous My Camp enrichment experience preferred
• Paraprofessionals
• Family liaison

My Camp 6 will help rising 6th graders prepare for the transition to middle school.

My Camp K-5 will be held in three centralized locations across the district. This year’s sites are Daniels Academy of Science and Math, Bush Global Leadership Academy, and Dickinson Montessori Academy.

My Camp 6 will be held at Young Men’s Leadership Academy.

Yes, we will have weekly field trips!

We have positions ranging from non-instructional paraprofessionals to certified teachers.

No, My Camp will run Monday to Thursday only.

Each instructional position, whether a professional or paraprofessional, will be required to complete asynchronous professional development before the start of My Camp. Once professional development is complete you will be eligible to qualify for a stipend.

• $30 per hour for certified teachers
• $25 per hour for lead instructional paraprofessionals and lead SPED paraprofessionals
• $20 per hour for non-instructional paraprofessionals and non-lead SPED paraprofessionals
• Professional development stipend for pre-service PD

My Camp K-5 has two five hour shifts available:

• 7:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
• 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

My Camp 6 has all day shifts available:

• 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. shift preferred
• Limited half-day shifts available
