    Texas Instruments Connects More Texas Students with the National Math and Science Initiative

    Thanks to Texas Instruments, North Texas high school students can now get free help for their upcoming Advanced Placement math and science courses from the National Math and Science Initiative. NMSI is recognized around the country for helping schools increase the number and diversity of students succeeding in AP courses.

    For more than a dozen years, highly successful AP teachers from across the country have led NMSI study sessions for students at more than 1,300 partner schools. The sessions are now open for registration.

    NMSI’s live AP Course Kick-off sessions run the week of August 9th and August 23rd.

    ROUND 1

    August 9-11: General Sessions

    • AP Math Sessions: 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
    • AP Science Sessions: 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

    August 12: Content Specific Sessions

    • AP Calculus AB/BC, Biology, Environmental Science: 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
    • AP Computer Science A, Computer Science P, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics 1, 2, C: 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

    ROUND 2

    August 23-25: General Sessions

    • AP Science Sessions: 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
    • AP Math Sessions: 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

    August 26: Content Specific Sessions

    • AP Computer Science A, Computer Science P, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics 1, 2, C: 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
