Record Requests
Access to student records will be granted according to the Federal Educational Rights to Privacy Act (FERPA) and Grand Prairie ISD policies FL (Legal) and FL (Local) for student records.
- NOTE - Diplomas are considered ceremonial documents, not a district record. The high school transcript, academic achievement record (AAR), is the official record of achievement and graduation. If you need an actual diploma for framing, you would need to request for a diploma replacement through Needs My Transcript. (This process can take longer than 4 weeks.)
Current Grand Prairie ISD Students
- Request for an Official Transcript to be sent to college or universities must be made through Xello
- Personal copies can be obtained at the school's registrar's office.
- Please contact your child's school for other records
- If your student has left the district, you will need to contact Document Services
- Email: Records.Resource@gpsid.org or Call 972-237-4040
- Submit a request through Needs My Transcript
