Social Work Hub Overview
GPISD Social Work Hub is excited to partner with GPISD’s Kindness Crews and Community partners to serve GPISD families/students and to help enrich the lives of our families and students by providing proper resources and tools needed. We want to meet the social, emotional and basic needs of our students to make their educational journey a success.
Students and families needing mental health support or hardship assistance, please contact the Social Work Hub at 972-522-7070 Monday thru Friday 8am-4pm. We are located at 1301 E Coral Way Room 402, Grand Prairie, TX 75051 (inside of the GPISD Grand Family Service Center).
Services Offered

Social Work Hub Food Pantry: Provided food assistance to GPISD families. Families are able to come to the Social Work Hub to pick a box of food once a month.
Clothes Closet/School Supplies: Provided clothes/uniforms and school supplies to students in need of assistance.
Kid’s Inc. Clothes Closet: GPISD has joined forces with Kid’s Inc. a non-profit organization that provides new clothing, specifically, uniforms for students in need. In order to qualify, students must meet specific criteria. Parents can call the Social Work Hub to determine if the quality and to request an appointment.
Hygiene Products: Provided hygiene products to families such as shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes etc. Families are able to receive assistance with hygiene products once a month.
Housing Assistance/Mental Health Resources/Other Resources: Families in need of housing assistance, mental health resources assistance or other resources assistance, Social Work Hub is able to assist with locating the resources within the communities to refer families for assistance.
Counseling for Students Grades K-5: The Social Work Hub will be available to provide support & counseling referrals.
School Enrollment/Registration: Provided school enrollment/registration assistance to families experiencing difficulties/issues when enrolling their children in schooll.
