Reimbursement of Test Fees
The Bilingual/ESL department will reimburse the teacher’s test fees whether s/he passes or fails. Click this link for additional information.
- Passed: must be added to certificate to receive reimbursement
- Failed: the department will reimburse and support in preparing for retaking the test
Additionally, the TAMU Eco-Synergistic Connections Program will reimburse your test fees if you pass. Please refer to the directions and supplemental for the forms you’ll need and the contact information for assistance.
Add Certification to SBEC
Once the test is passed, it must be added to your teacher certificate. The BESL Department does not reimburse this expense to add it to the certificate as it’s not an allowable use of funds under TEA Bilingual Education Allotment guidelines.
