District-Wide Support & Networking

We serve as the liaison between Grand Prairie ISD campus PTAs and larger state/national PTA networks—connecting you to training, governance support, and district-level collaboration. Each Council Board member is assigned a campus PTA to support.  Click here to view the list

Leadership Development & Training Access

Through our council, PTA leaders gain access to professional development, webinars, events, and programs at both the Texas and national level.

To achieve this status, PTA campus should have the following steps completed:

• Enroll at least 20 members
• Elect and register PTA leaders (the Council of PTAs can guide or lead the election process, and provide support as needed)
• Review or update bylaws (must be current within the last 3 years)
• Review or update standing rules (must be current within the last 3 years)
• File and have accepted IRS Form 990 (990-N, 990-EZ, or 990, as required)
