Eisenhower Media / Library

  • "The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information." -- Information Power: Guidelines for School Library Media Programs, 1998.

From the beginning we teach, train and support students in their book and library adventures through teacher/librarian coordinated lessons, stories and research activities. A flexible schedule allows students, staff and parents to use the library throughout the school day. However, parents may find that before or after school is the best time to access books. Students are encouraged to visit the library on a weekly basis. Our student-centered library encourages students to be independent, responsible and enthusiastic library users.
