Dearest Seguin Families,

It is with honor and with great enthusiasm that I become a member of the Seguin Elementary family. It is a privilege to be a part of such a wonderful school and community.

I was born and raised in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and immigrated to Dallas, TX when I was 16 years old.

I received an Associate in Applied Sciences in Criminal Justice from Mountain View College. Graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and later on obtained a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with Dual Language Emphasis. I completed a Newcomer/ESL Certification program at Southern Methodist University. Received a Principal Certification in 2010 and I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration degree, and a Superintendent Certification program from Texas A&M University - Commerce.

With many years experience in the field of education, I worked as a bilingual teacher for Dallas Independent School District and Grand Prairie Independent School District before becoming an Assistant Principal.
