Rickeshea Todd

Rickeshea Todd is an experienced educator with a heart for children. She counts it a privilege to have the opportunity to serve students, parents, teachers and community as one of the school counselors of Lee and Uplift Lee. Her goal as a school counselor is to help all students with issues that may be affecting their academics, career, and personal/social interactions.

When she is not at school she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching football, creating new things, and traveling.

Latrice Todd

Latrice Todd is a native of Dallas, TX. She has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts and Science with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management from the University of North Texas. Ms. Todd has her M. Ed in K-12 School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University with a K-12 School Counselor license for Texas. Her education and training are based on the American School Counselor Association’s (ASCA) National Model.
 
Ms. Todd enjoys encouraging students to strive for their personal best. She is excited to work with the students, teachers, administrators, and parents at Lee Elementary.
 
In her free time, Ms. Todd enjoys reading and music. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

  • As school counselors, we perform the following to promote growth:

    • Individual / small group counseling on a short-term basis
    • Classroom guidance each month
    • Collaborate with students, parents and school staff to identify needs and enhance student success in academics, career, and personal/social development
    • Respond to and provide support during personal/ school crises or emergency situations
    • Provide information and resources to parents on a variety of issues
    • Assist students in learning how school performance relates to future opportunities
    • Help students to recognize and make the best of their abilities
    • Develop student career awareness. The district is implementing a new online career program, Career Cruising, for students in PK-12th to use. We are here to support them from Cradle to Career.
    • Help to create a safe and positive learning experience
